R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Mary Lou |
|
Paddie Deville of Center, who passed away on May 17, 2017, at the |
|
age of 88; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Lew and Rosa Line Ebarb, the former |
|
Mary Lou Ebarb was born in Mansfield, Louisiana, on April 24, 1929, |
|
and grew up with the companionship of a brother, T. J.; and |
|
WHEREAS, This beloved woman shared a rewarding relationship |
|
with her first husband, Eli Paddie, until his passing; fortunate |
|
enough to find love again, she married Emar Deville, who also |
|
preceded her in death; over the years, she was blessed with a fine |
|
family that included two daughters, Betty and Bonny, and three |
|
sons, Billy, Bobby, and Benny, as well as numerous grandchildren |
|
and great-grandchildren; she was a valued member of the Center |
|
community and a parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mary Lou Deville lived a caring and purposeful life, |
|
and she leaves behind a wealth of comforting memories to be |
|
treasured by those who were privileged to share in her love and |
|
affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mary Lou Paddie |
|
Deville and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of her family: |
|
to her children, Betty Williams, Billy Paddie, Bobby Paddie, Benny |
|
Paddie, and Bonny Paddie Reed; to her brother, T. J. Ebarb; to her |
|
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and to |
|
her other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Lou |
|
Paddie Deville. |
