A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to an exemption from numbering for certain vessels |
|
|
propelled by trolling motors. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 31.022(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) All canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats, rubber rafts, or |
|
|
other vessels under 14 feet in length when paddled, poled, oared, |
|
|
[or] windblown, or propelled by an affixed electric trolling motor |
|
|
are exempt from the numbering provisions of this chapter. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
