| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 437.0075(a), Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended to read as follows: | ||
| (a) A county with a population of at least four [ |
||
| million may require a certified or trained food manager to be on | ||
| duty during the operating hours of a food establishment. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
