A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
| |
|
|
relating to county prohibition of the possession of glass |
|
|
containers within the boundaries of a state-owned riverbed; |
|
|
creating an offense. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 365.035, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(b-1) A county other than a county described by Subsection |
|
|
(b) by order may prohibit the possession of a glass container within |
|
|
the boundaries of a state-owned riverbed in the county. A person |
|
|
who violates an order adopted under this subsection commits an |
|
|
offense. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
