SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 48

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Beverly Randall for her outstanding work as Founders' Day cochair for the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; and

WHEREAS, The Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was established on June 6, 1929; through programs of service, the chapter has long worked to encourage young women to develop high standards of character and to strive for excellence in educational achievement; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Randall is a loyal Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority member who has served as a mentor and role model to countless sisters, and she has played an integral role in numerous Alpha Xi Omega Chapter programs and events; and

WHEREAS, Beverly Randall is truly deserving of recognition for helping the chapter to fulfill its mission of service and for her exemplary leadership as the Founders' Day cochair; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th Legislature, hereby commend Beverly Randall on her many contributions to the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and extend to her best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
