SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 269
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Diane Lowrance for her 24 years of service with the
  Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County; and
 
         WHEREAS, Diane Lowrance joined the staff of the behavioral
  health center in 1992; she has contributed her talents in
  numerous capacities over the years and has served as the
  organization's chief executive officer since 2004; and
 
         WHEREAS, During her tenure, she has helped to shape the
  growth and progress of the center; and
 
         WHEREAS, In addition to her leadership at the behavioral
  health center, she has served with several professional and civic
  organizations, including the Texas Council of Community Centers
  and the boards of directors of Charlie's Place Recovery Center
  and the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi; and
 
         WHEREAS, Diane Lowrance is truly a distinguished leader; she
  is respected by professionals throughout the state, and her
  wisdom, expertise, and commitment have made a difference in the
  lives of countless individuals and families; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
  Legislature, hereby commend Diane Lowrance for her exemplary
  leadership at the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County and
  for her work on behalf of vulnerable citizens and extend to her
  best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
