SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 787

Rebecca Molina |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
commemorates the life of Rebecca Molina, who died April 8, 2017, |
|
at the age of 73; and |
|
WHEREAS, Rebecca Molina was an exemplary citizen who was |
|
widely respected and admired in the Edinburg community for her |
|
many achievements; and |
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas--Pan |
|
American, Mrs. Molina was a longtime educator and curriculum |
|
assistant with the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School |
|
District; and |
|
WHEREAS, She and her beloved husband, Reynaldo Molina Sr., |
|
raised five children together, Lillian, Manuel, Reynaldo Jr., |
|
Victoria, and Richard; they were blessed with 18 grandchildren |
|
and 20 great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, A woman of courage, grace, and compassion, she |
|
gave unselfishly to others, and her strength, her wisdom, and her |
|
generous spirit will not be forgotten by those who were |
|
privileged to share in her life; and |
|
WHEREAS, Rebecca Molina was a devoted wife, mother, and |
|
grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured |
|
forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|
Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
family of Rebecca Molina; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of Rebecca Molina. |
