SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 891
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Neice Bell and Ceslie Armstrong for the successful |
|
|
launch of their new magazine, Texas Hill Country Culture; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Neice Bell is the publisher of the Kerrville Daily |
|
|
Times, which produces the magazine, and Ceslie Armstrong is the |
|
|
magazine's editor; Texas Hill Country Culture is distributed |
|
|
throughout Kerr and Gillespie Counties and at locations across |
|
|
the Hill Country, and it is included in the final weekend edition |
|
|
of the Kerrville Daily Times each month; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The articles in Texas Hill Country Culture are |
|
|
focused on the noteworthy stories of individuals, businesses, |
|
|
organizations, and celebrations in the Hill Country area; in |
|
|
addition, each issue of the magazine explores a special theme of |
|
|
interest, such as travel; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Texas Hill Country Culture is becoming a |
|
|
compelling magazine for the Hill Country residents and visitors, |
|
|
and it is truly fitting that the publication receive special |
|
|
recognition; now, therefore, be it |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend Neice Bell and Ceslie Armstrong on |
|
|
their commitment to excellence in journalism and extend to them |
|
|
best wishes for continued success with Texas Hill Country |
|
|
Culture; and, be it further |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
