The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to conditions of community supervision for defendants convicted of certain criminal offenses involving animals.
Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Office of Court Administration, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
