HB213 by Canales (Relating to requirements regarding electronic access to instructional materials provided in printed book format purchased for public schools.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require publishers that provide printed instructional materials and supplemental instructional materials to school districts to provide those materials to districts in an electronic format at no additional cost.

Local Government Impact

School districts may realize some cost savings as a result of the bill.
