The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to grant authority to a city attorney to seek an injunction to abate a common nuisance. Based on the information provided by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
