No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to a report by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) regarding the transition from military service to employment.
Based on information provided by TWC and the Texas Veterans Commission, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
The bill would take effect on September 1, 2017, and requires TWC to submit the initial report required under the provisions of the bill no later than September 1, 2018.
