No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code relating to appointment of a receiver for a water or sewer utility. Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Commission on Environmental Quality, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
