No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the disqualification from receiving unemployment benefits of individuals who resign from work in lieu of being discharged for misconduct. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
