FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB635 by Howard (Relating to issuance of a vendor permit for the sale of goods during an authorized event held in the Texas mall area of the Capitol Complex.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require the State Preservation Board, in consultation with the Facilities Commission, to create a rule process for a vendor to apply for a permit to sell goods from a rented space in the future Texas mall area.
This analysis assumes any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed by the State Preservation Board and the Facilities Commission within current resources.
The bill would go in to effect September 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
