No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Occupation Code and the Family Code relating to the provision of embryo donation information. Based on information provided by the Department of Family and Protective Resources and the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
