No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Government Code relating to allowing individuals appointed to state office to file required financial statements by certified mail.
This analysis assumes that any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within the existing resources of the Ethics Commission.
The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members of the house, otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
