The bill relates to the work-study student mentorship program administered by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Based on the responses provided by institutions of higher education and the Higher Education Coordinating Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
