No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to make certain non-disclosure provisions inapplicable to information contained in a bid or proposal after the contract to which the bid or proposal relates is awarded or executed.

The Office of the Attorney General anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
