No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code and the Finance Code relating to the prohibition of certain telemarketing calls by credit access businesses to consumers on the Texas no-call list. Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission and the Office of Public Utility Counsel, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
