The bill would amend the Education Code relating to the persons authorized to conduct a driver education course.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement indicate that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agencies' existing resources.
