No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the composition of the board of trustees of the Employees Retirement System of Texas.

This analysis assumes any additional work associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed by the Employees Retirement System of Texas using existing resources.

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2017.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
