No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill's provisions would add four indicators to Domain IV for evaluating the performance of high school campuses and districts that include high school campuses.  The new indicators would be: (1) the percentage of students who have completed an international baccalaureate course, (2) the percentage of students who have received credit by examination, (3) the percentage of students who have been promoted to higher grade levels than the grade levels to which the students would ordinarily be assigned, and (4) the percentage of students who have earned a diploma after not more than three years of high school attendance.  Additionally, the bill would add two indicators to Domain IV for evaluating the performance of middle and junior high school campuses. 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017, or immediately if passed with the necessary voting margins, and would apply beginning with school year 2017-18.
