No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code allowing a county with a population of more than 550,000 that is adjacent to a county with a population of four million may regulate roadside vendors and solicitors.
The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each chamber; otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
