No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bills provisions would allow a member of the board of trustees of an independent school district to visit any campus in the school district for observation without requesting or obtaining permission from a school district administrator or employee prior to the visit.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017, or immediately if passed with the necessary voting margins.
