No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require a court to allow a prosecuting attorney to question a grand juror to determine whether that person might be challenged for cause. The Office of Court Administration has indicated duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
