IN RE:
HB1315 by King, Phil (Relating to the liability of employees of certain real property owners for certain claims arising from construction activities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to include an employee of a person or entity within the definition of "property owner" for purposes of certain claims from certain real property owners arising from construction activities. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration and Texas Department of Transportation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
