HB1406 by Blanco (Relating to the authority of the asset management division of the General Land Office to sell real property to a federally recognized Indian tribe.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Natural Resources Code to allow the General Land Office (GLO) to sell land to a federally recognized Indian tribe.  GLO has indicated it could implement the provisions of the bill with existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
