No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would impose a late payment penalty on managed care organizations that fail to pay certain physician and provider claims in a timely manner. 

Based on the analysis provided by the Health and Human Services Commission, the provisions of the bill can be implemented within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
