No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code prohibiting an off-premise sign that is adjacent and visible to certain roads in Hays County.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation any cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed with existing agency resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
