No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to the sanitation and safety requirements for certain artificial bodies of water maintained for public recreational purposes. The Department of State Health Services and the Health and Human Services Commission indicate that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed with existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
