HB1469 by Bailes (Relating to qualifications for certain teachers employed by open-enrollment charter schools.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would allow a person employed by an open enrollment charter school to be employed as a teacher for a noncore academic career and technical education course without holding a baccalaureate degree under certain circumstances.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017, or immediately if passed with the necessary voting margins.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
