IN RE:	HB1504 by Allen (relating to a community supervision and corrections department policy regarding supervision officer meetings and visits.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require community supervision and corrections departments to adopt a policy regarding the scheduling of meetings with defendants on community supervision in a manner that accommodates the defendant's work, treatment, or community service schedule. The provision of the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2017.
