HB1504 by Allen (Relating to conditions of community supervision applicable to supervision officer meetings and visits.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require judges to direct probation officers to schedule meetings with defendants on community supervision in a manner that accommodates the defendant's work, treatment, or community service schedule.  The Office of Court Administration and the Department of Criminal Justice have indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
