HB1505 by Allen (Relating to conditions of community supervision prohibiting contact with certain persons.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to provide that any judge placing a defendant on community supervision may not, as a condition of community supervision, prohibit the defendant from interacting with another person based solely on the other person's criminal history.  The Office of Court Administration and the Department of Criminal Justice have indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.
