No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code to require school districts to seek input from students, in addition to existing stakeholders, before the adoption of a major curriculum initiative.

Local Government Impact

School districts may incur costs associated with gathering and analyzing student input; however, these costs are not expected to be significant.
