IN RE:
HB1604 by Blanco (Relating to an acknowledgement of vulnerabilities and risks in a state agency's information security plan.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require a state agency to include in the agency's information security plan a written statement signed by the executive head of the agency acknowledging that the executive head is aware of the vulnerabilities and risks identified in the plan's development. It is assumed that any additional work to implement the provisions of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
