HB1644 by Springer (Relating to transferring charge and control of a painting entitled "The Spirit of the Alamo Lives On."), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would order the transfer of a piece of art currently owned by the Texas Veterans Commission to the General Land Office (GLO).  The Texas Veterans Commission and the GLO have indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
