No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code to exempt certain honorably retired peace officers from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission from certain continuing education requirements.

It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within current resources

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
