HB1814 by Murr (Relating to application requirements for certain probate proceedings.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend sections of the Estates Code to require applications for certain probate proceedings to state the last three digits of the driver's license number and social security number of any applicant, testator, or decedent. This requirement would apply to an application for probate of a will, an application for probate of a will as a muniment of title, and an application for a letter of administration.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
