HB1824 by Shaheen (Relating to the execution of a warrant issued for certain individuals who violate a condition of release on parole or to mandatory supervision.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require law enforcement agencies to execute, as soon as practicable, a warrant that is directed to the agency and issued for the return of a releasee in the super-intensive supervision program. It is assumed any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
