No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to add information collected, assembled, or maintained by or for a governmental body to prevent, detect, or investigate a computer security incident, including a breach of system security, as exempt from public information requests. According to the State Auditor's Office, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated and it is assumed that the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
