No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Water Code for consistency with changes made in federal law by the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014. The Water Development Board has indicated that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
