HB1899 by Sanford (Relating to the rendition by a court in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship of an order that is contrary to the expressed wishes of the child's parent.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to prohibit a court from rendering an order contrary to the express wishes of a child's parent except under specific circumstances.  Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
