The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the licensing and regulation of certain military dentists and dental hygienists who provide voluntary charity dental or dental hygiene care.
Based on information provided by the Board of Dental Examiners, it is assumed duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources and any increase in licensees and associated fee revenue are not anticipated to be significant.
