No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to the continuation of the Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Task Force. The Department of State Health Services indicates that implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
