No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the eligibility and requirements for the issuance and renewal of a license in massage therapy.

According to the Department of State Health Services, the Department of Public Safety, and the Department of Licensing and Regulation, any costs associated with implementing the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.
