HB2072 by Gutierrez (Relating to the eligibility of certain persons for a license in massage therapy.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would extend the time limit from five years to ten years that an applicant for a massage therapist license is ineligible for the license due to convictions for certain crimes.

According to the Department of State Health Services and the Department of Licensing and Regulation, any costs associated with implementing the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
