No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code by requiring high speed rail tracks located in a county or adjacent to a county with a population of more than one million to be elevated on pylons 40 feet or more above the ground.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
