No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Government Code relating to the authority of the Governor to transfer to the Texas Education Agency for prekindergarten programs amounts appropriated to Trusteed Programs Within the Office of the Governor.
This analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within the existing resources of the Office of the Governor and the Texas Education Agency.
This bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
